At Mountain Hope Church Orange it is our desire to 'connect' to the family all those who are yearning for a place to belong, a place of some kind of connection with other people and with God. It is also a place for those seeking to know what we are on about as Christians.
We have therefore established Connect Groups which meet regularly, usually weekly, in various members homes. These groups are proving to be places of warmth and acceptance where together we can forge a connection with Jesus and with each other. Here, we are learning to offer and receive care and help, to grow in understanding of God's plan for our lives and to come to experience the oneness that God intends for his people.
In experiencing the life of a Connect Group you would expect to find a mix of people learning through being together in various ways. For example; looking at helpful material and exploring how to live the Christian life; being together through social/fun activities and outings; and through being there for each other in love, practice and prayer, through both the exhilarating and the more difficult times that we all live through.
Our Connect Groups form the basis of our church life together and are the key to extending care, providing training and equipping, and as a platform to reach our local and world community with the love of Christ.
